Viktor Tsepelin (Lancaster) is a Reader, Head of Lancaster Low Temperature Physics, and formerly an EPSRC Advanced Research Fellow (2006-2011). His current interests are the creation, evolution and decay of quantum vortex tangles in superfluid 3He at zero temperature limit, probing turbulence in superfluids (3He and 4He) with micro-electromechanical (superconducting vibrating wires, quartz tuning forks) and nano-electromechanical devices (doubly-clamped beams). PhD (Aalto Univesity, 1996-2001) - optical detection of He4/He3 crystal growth. |
